Music Ministry

The ministry of music has always been highly valued by the congregation and has a history of strong leadership and enthusiastic participation. While the most important choir that the church has is the assembled congregation, we are privileged to be led by a program of five vocal choirs, with members from kindergarten age to 80 years old, a handbell choir, and a liturgical dance ensemble. All of this singing and ringing happens under the direction of a dedicated staff of musicians who infuse the program with creativity, excellence, and a true heart for ministry. Our beautiful sanctuary, chapel, and rehearsal rooms are equipped with fine instruments, a reflection of the dedication and foresight of generations of church members dedicated to fine music made for God's glory. Every Sunday, and for special events during the year open to the congregation and community at large, Central's music ministers, volunteers and professionals alike, are engaged in the work of proclaiming the Gospel and creating beauty in the midst of our broken and deeply-loved world.
