Worship Schedule

Central Presbyterian Church offers rich and rewarding opportunities to worship, grow and celebrate our lives together in the name of Jesus Christ.

There are two opportunities to worship on Sunday mornings at CPC. The same sermon will be preached at both services.

8:30 a.m. Informal Worship Service
Come to the Auditorium (Cloister Garden during Summer months) each Sunday for Informal Worship Services including drama, multi-media presentations, praise band music, and an intimate, informal setting. Communion is offered every week.

9:45 a.m. Sanctuary Worship Service
Our Sanctuary Worship services will continue to be led by all of our wonderful choirs and beautiful pipe organ. Communion is celebrated monthly, on the first Sunday of the month.
This Service is also broadcast live on TV36 and repeated at noon.

Chancel Flowers

Anyone may donate flowers to be placed in the Chancel on Sunday. Once per year, usually in late fall, a sign-up sheet is prepared and left out so that people may reserve a particular date. If it is desired, a memo will be placed in the bulletin stating for whom or what the flowers are in memory or honor of. Sign-ups are done on a first-come first-serve basis. If you have missed the sign-up period, you may call the church office (908-273-0441) to see which Sundays are still open.

Flowers can either be ordered by CPC, in which case you would be billed $40. Or, you can order flowers yourself and have them delivered to the church by 3pm the Saturday before. After the Sunday services, you may take the flowers home or leave them at the church where they will be distributed to shut-ins or those who are in the hospital.
