Concerts at CPC
Central Presbyterian Church has a long history of being one of Summit's musical centers, hosting innumerable choral, chamber, solo, and orchestral performances. The warm, concert hall acoustic of the sanctuary, and the excellent keyboard instruments, including a 63-rank Schantz organ, make it an ideal setting for a wide variety of musical events.
Sanctuary Arts Advent and Lent Concert Series
CPC's wonderful Sanctuary Arts Concerts occur most Fridays in Advent and Lent with offerings from a variety of choirs, singers, and instrumentalists. In keeping with the mission of concerts at CPC, all events are free and open to the public and begin at 12:15pm. Be sure to bring a friend and introduce them to our friendly church family and beautiful sanctuary!
Special Musical Events
Central has a long history of being a center of musical culture in the Summit area, and this season of performances of great sacred music reflects an ongoing commitment to this tradition. Two of the events, the Messiah Sing-Along and the Summit Music Festival, are open to participation by the wider community.
