Habitat for Humanity: Summit Faith House

The Summit Faith House is a home funded and built by seven Summit congregations. Each work day we teamed with one or two of our fellow Summit congregations. The mix was different each work day so, we had the chance to meet all of the Faith House volunteers.

On workdays our crew met in the CPC Auditorium around 7:00 AM for coffee, doughnuts and a blessing, and were on the road to Newark by7:30 AM. We began work at 8:30 AM. ended around 3:30 PM.

This was a special opportunity to help a deserving family experience the joy of having its own home! The family who will live in the Summit Faith House worked with the crews. They are very special people and were a joy to work with.

Please join us as we celebrate our achievement and share in our joy of helping this family realize their dream of a home of their own.
