Oasis Haven for Women and Children, Inc.

The Oasis Haven for Women and Children is dedicated to feeding and clothing needy women and children and offering educational opportunities to help women compete in today's marketplace. Oasis serves over 35,000 hot meals annually to women and children. In addition Oasis operates a food pantry for weekend needs and a clothing bank. Educational opportunities include classes in G.E.D., E.S.L. (English as a Second Language), and computer training. Oasis also operates a nurturing center where pre-school infants and toddlers are cared for while their mothers attend class, and finally, Oasis operates an after school program and a summer camp for elementary school children. Funds from CPC will be used to fund Oasis' adult education programs.
