The Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) ministers to the needs of homeless women and families by providing food, shelter and support to enhance their self sufficiency. In its 13 years of operation, IHN has provided assistance to approximately 600 individuals, over half of them children. IHN sponsors a Shelter program which can accommodate up to 14 people at one time. Participating host congregations provide clean, safe, private accommodations for one to two weeks on a rotating schedule. IHN also sponsors a Transitional Living program that works for up to one year with those individuals and families that have left the Shelter program. Funds provided by CPC will be used for general operating expenses including the hiring of a part-time case manager who will be responsible for clients in both the Shelter and Transitional Living programs.

IHN is looking for volunteers to become mentors to their clients.
