Greater Life is dedicated to reaching and serving at risk and disadvantaged youth, parents and seniors in Newark through its community outreach center and camping trips outside of the city. Programs focus on promoting improved grades, physical health, social skills, behavior, moral standards, family involvement and volunteerism. Greater Life currently serves over 1,000 individuals annually. Greater Life was established as a charitable non-profit 501(c)(3) organization in 1993, however it has been serving those in need in Newark for the past 19 years.

Funds donated by CPC will help to fund Project Rescue. This program is designed to reach 50 gang affiliated individuals and those influenced by gang culture in Newark. The target age group is from 8 to 19 years of age. The program will take place in 12 week intervals and will utilize seven Greater Life Staff and 21 volunteers.
