Brand New Day (BND) provides affordable housing for low and moderate income families and individuals in the Elizabethport area through acquiring and rehabilitating existing structures and/or acquiring vacant land for new construction. BND also works to enhance the quality of life in the community by providing ongoing leadership and empowerment programs, such as the Financial Literacy/Entrepreneurship Program which is designed to introduce the importance of personal finances to youth. The program includes education in a variety of areas related to small business and life skills, exposure to banking services and the operation of a farm stand in Elizabethport during the summer months. Funds donated by CPC will support a portion of this program.

Opportunities for hands-on involvement by CPC members include facilitating workshops in the areas of financial literacy, entrepreneurship, leadership development, marketing and/or public speaking.
