Schedule for Middle School and Senior High youth ministry events for Winter/Spring 2012 .

If a parent and/or youth misses a viewing of “Joan of Arcadia” they are welcome to borrow the DVD to watch any missed episodes at home.

Middle School/Senior High Fellowship and Mission Schedule

January to June 2012

Middle School Youth Fellowship = includes mission projects on-site, guest speakers on church mission opportunities, Wii, pool, air hockey, homework help, hanging out, in good weather outside recreation on-site, etc.

Lesson Time = Viewing 45-minute “Joan of Arcadia” episode followed by 30-45 minute discussion guided by prepared lessons and led by adult leaders and pastor

Retreats and Special Events = Camp Johnsonburg Retreats run Friday 8 pm to noon on Sunday – 3 offerings each for a different age group.

30 Hour Famine = Saturday morning through Sunday morning – students stay overnight at church on Saturday – on and off-site projects during the day on Saturday for participants

Senior High Fellowship – Sunday mornings using “Joan of Arcadia” curriculum from 10 am to 11:15 am in North Classroom, will NOT meet on 1 st Sunday of the month so senior highs can be present in sanctuary worship for communion.

Keeep your eyes and ears open for announcements regrading our new partnership with Market Street Mission in Morristown which will bring us opportunities for food pantry and soup kitchen volunteer times that will be scheduled in the New Year. This would be a chance for our youth to probably visit this mission site on a monthly basis.

In April, May, and June the mission trip participants may be meeting on Sunday evenings from 5 to 8 pm for planning meetings. Dates yet to be confirmed.

Jan. 16 – MLK Day of Service – community service opportunities around town offered by Summit Public Schools and the Summit Interfaith Council
