Vacation Bible School

sets sail August 17 - 21!

9:30 - noon each day

Parents and Kids may sign-in early on Monday only at 9:15 am.

Prior to Monday, the 17th, registered families will receive a packet of info including a music CD, a sheet detailing VBS info and what we will still need from you, and medical cards which must be fully completed, one for each child attending VBS.

We still need a few hands on deck on Monday to help with ironing decals onto T-shirts. As kids sign-in, they will be able to choose their perfect size T-shirt. Each child's name will be written into their shirt. During VBS on Monday a very special crew will be hard at work ironing the decals onto the shirts which will go home with the kids on Monday! All week long we'll be focusing on this Bible verse from Philippians 4:13 -
"I can do all things through Christ because he gives me strength"
We'll be experiencing how each of us, no matter how small, can be heroes for God.

MONDAY- we'll dive into the story of Moses and the Burning Bush (Exodus 3:1-4:17) and understand that True heroes know that God is with them.

TUESDAY - we'll splash into the story of Gideon's Army Defeating the Midianites (Judges 6:1-7:26) and understand that God can make me a hero.

WEDNESDAY - we'll delve into the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and the Firey Furnace (Daniel 3:1-30) and understand that True heroes do the right thing.

THURSDAY - we'll probe the story of Jesus Rescuing Peter (Matthew 14:22-33) and understand that Heroes reach out to Jesus

FRIDAY - we'll crash into the story of Paul's Shipwreck and understand that True heroes share God's love.
